DEF Market Overview
The DEF market continues to grow, Integer reports 750,000 SCR vehicles on the road in North America today. DEF consumption for Class 4-8 is expected to exceed 200 million gallons by the end of 2013. Projections are that the volume will double by 2015.
Truck stops around the country are adding bulk DEF to their islands every month. Pilot Flying J, Love’s truck stop now have DEF lanes in operation. You may see your local independent truck stops adding pumps at the island as well. Diesel Exhaust Fluid Companies are actively working with many of these local operators across the US and Canada to add the convenience of bulk DEF.
