For those of you, who are from somewhere other than the Northeast, this storm touched you a little, I am sure but for those in the Northeast some of you were punched right in the mouth. What was it like?
In 20 years in the fleet fueling business, I have never seen such a terrible seen when it came to getting people fuel supply the days after Sandy and even now to a much smaller degree.
Sandy hit an area of the country that refines about 7% of the nations total oil and a population density incomparable to the rest of the country. No power, no fuel, mass destruction have left people in that area in bad shape.
Gas supply and diesel fuel supply is improving everyday along with more locations getting power will help with this situation. We wish these people the very best in the next couple of weeks.
